SearchFit Shopping Cart v8.5 (May 11, 2009), Changes and new features:

1. NEW: implemented "Product Photo Album" feature:
a) ability to upload unlimited extra images per product by uploading image by image or one bundled with images zip file. This is available at Products/EditProduct/Images
b) the system auto creates and resizes to small and thumbnail extra images using a predefined by the store owner size and compression percentage at Products/ConfigureProducts/Images
c) ability to change the order of the extra images using Drag&Drop
d) new include tag available for all product templates: DYNAMIC_INCLUDE(PRODUCT_PHOTO_ALBUM) with variations like DYNAMIC_INCLUDE(PRODUCT_PHOTO_ALBUM, albumType=...). Right now, there is only one album type, which is the default one and it shows a "More Images" link if the product has extra images. When the visitor clicks on the link then a dynamic panel appears where he can browse through all thumbnails, click on them and review the small images, then click on the small images and review large extra images dynamically.

2. NEW: the new "Products: use soft links" property at Settings/ConfigurePerUser/Generation allows the store owner to specify if the product links are soft link, which means that there will be no separate pages generated for the product links and they will link directly to the main product pages

3. NEW: the new "Activate In Stock Items" setting on the import form allows the store owner to enable disabled products when inventory becomes positive via import

4. NEW: for advanced usage, implemented DYNAMIC_INCLUDE(LOAD_CONTENT, url=...) for all templates that in an AJAX way will fetch the content of the provided URL and include it at the place where the dynamic include is specified. Examples:
a) DYNAMIC_INCLUDE(LOAD_CONTENT, url=http://www.mydomain.com/getBannerContent.php)
b) DYNAMIC_INCLUDE(LOAD_CONTENT, url=http://www.mydomain.com/getMoreProductContent.php?productId=AUTO_GENERATED_PRODUCT_ID)

5. NEW: implemented automatic SearchFit.PowerSearch feed

6. CHANGE: better serve admin pages at HTTPS locations

7. CHANGE: new categoryType, category, and product records are now defaulted to have the "Access Granted To" value as ServiceUser

8. CHANGE: improved the "Tell a Friend" feature to reject requests that include http links to help lower SPAM usages

9. CHANGE: if importing new categoryTypes, categories, and products that do not have meta tags specified then default the meta title, keys, and description to empty to allow more flexible SEO Naming Rules to be applied

10. CHANGE: The "Warning! This is a preview only" message has been removed from the product preview page when the customer clicks on the product link from the shopping cart. This message still appears with the extra product information if the store owner clicks on those links after a successful login to the admin pages.

11. CHANGE: removed all empty "alt" attributes of system images

12. FIX: resolved an issue when the "Add to Cart" checkbox of a related product was checked. Now it automatically shows the accumulated price on the product page.

13. FIX: resolved a visual problem when a related product was inactivated

14. FIX: there was a problem with the copy options from one to another product

15. FIX: fixed a bug in google analytics that caused the checkout page to not be tracked across domain names
