how to turn off 1 or 2 power search filters e.g. "brands" and "categories"

Please don't write to this "This is tech related PS (PowerSearch) forum" thread, create a new one for PS questions.

The Brand, Category, and Price Range filters are the default filters in PowerSearch. If your products have brands then they will automatically be submitted to PowerSearch and currently, you cannot turn that off. Same with categories. If the search result have different prices then the Price Range filter will be visualized as well.

It is not a big deal to change the SearchFit engine that sends the feed to PowerSearch to exclude the Category and Brand filters, but currently it is not implemented that way.
